MICROSOLDERING TRAINING
These courses teach students microsoldering skills and knowledge to diagnose and repair common logic board issues. These are hands-on courses where students work on current devices with the latest equipment.
Students should have some repair experience taking apart and repairing mobile devices, but do not need any previous soldering experience — we begin by teaching the fundamentals of soldering and progress into microsoldering, reading schematics, and repairing logic board issues.
Students will learn how to repair common issues such as damaged FPC connectors, backlights, iPhone 6/6+ touch disease, and other common issues seen by repair stores. After students learn the basics, we spend time troubleshooting and working on live devices with real problems. Students are encouraged to bring their own Apple devices with issues to troubleshoot and repair during the class. Students will also learn skills they can utilize to repair other issues they may not have seen in class.
