This course teaches students micro soldering skills to repair common logic board issues including charge ports, FPC connectors and more. This is a hands on course where students work on current devices with the latest equipment and are encouraged to bring some of their own Apple devices needing soldering repairs to fix during the class. Students should have some repair experience taking apart and repairing mobile devices, but do not need any previous soldering experience as we begin by teaching the fundamentals of soldering and will progress into micro soldering. Students will learn how to repair common issues such as damaged FPC connectors, backlights and other common issues seen by repair stores. This is an abbreviated version of our 5 day course, this course focus more on the hands on skills for students to learn how to micro solder and doesn't spend as much time on troubleshooting, schematics and electrical theory. This course is great for students that want to learn to solder and fix the most common soldering jobs seen in repair stores.
