Our Process
Every data recovery starts with a thorough diagnostic evaluation. We assess the condition of your device and storage media, identify what is recoverable, and give you a clear explanation of your options and pricing before any work begins. You are never charged for recovery work you have not approved.
Once authorized, our technicians work carefully to extract and preserve your data using industry best practices, including imaging storage media before any recovery attempts to protect against further loss. Recovered files are returned to you on a secure storage device or via a protected transfer method of your choice.
Honest Assessments
We believe in transparency. If a device has sustained damage that makes full recovery unlikely, we will tell you upfront. We never oversell our capabilities or make promises we cannot keep. Our goal is to give your data the best possible chance of recovery and to keep you informed every step of the way.
Protecting Your Privacy
Your data is yours. Our technicians access only what is necessary to perform the recovery, and we never read, copy, share, or retain any of your personal files. All data is handled with strict confidentiality, and any temporarily stored recovery files are securely deleted after service is complete.
Please note: Data recovery results cannot be guaranteed and depend on the nature and extent of the damage to your device or storage media. A diagnostic fee may apply.
Data Recovery Services — Disclaimer & Customer Acknowledgment
Thank you for trusting us with your device. We understand how important your data is, and our team will make every effort to recover it safely and professionally. Please read the following before leaving your device for service.
No Guarantee of Recovery Data recovery is a technically complex process and results cannot be guaranteed. The recoverability of data depends on the nature and extent of the damage, the condition of the storage media, and factors that may not be determinable until the recovery process begins. We will always provide an honest assessment of what is and is not recoverable before proceeding.
Risk of Further Data Loss In some cases, the recovery process itself carries a small risk of additional data loss. We follow industry best practices to minimize this risk, including working from drive images rather than original media whenever possible. By leaving your device for data recovery service, you acknowledge and accept that this inherent risk exists.
No Unauthorized Access or Disclosure Our technicians will only access the minimum amount of data necessary to perform the requested recovery. We do not read, copy, share, sell, or retain any personal files, documents, photos, or other private content. All recovered data is returned exclusively to the customer. Our staff adhere to strict confidentiality standards.
Customer Responsibility for Backups We strongly recommend that all customers maintain regular backups of important data. Our data recovery service is not a substitute for a backup strategy. We are not liable for data that was not recoverable due to pre-existing damage, corruption, or device failure prior to service.
Scope of Service Our data recovery services are limited to consumer and small business devices including smartphones, tablets, laptops, and external drives. We do not perform forensic data recovery, court-ordered data extraction, or law enforcement-related services. We reserve the right to decline any recovery request at our discretion.
Pricing & Authorization A diagnostic assessment will be performed before any recovery work begins. You will be informed of the estimated cost and likelihood of success prior to proceeding. No recovery work will be performed without your explicit written or verbal authorization. Diagnostic fees may apply regardless of recovery outcome and will be disclosed upfront.
Device Handling & Liability We handle all devices with the utmost care. In the unlikely event of physical damage to your device during the recovery process, our liability is limited to the fair market value of the device at the time it was brought in for service, not to exceed the cost of the service performed. We are not liable for data loss resulting from pre-existing hardware failure, software corruption, or circumstances beyond our control.
Data Disposal If you choose not to proceed with recovery after the diagnostic, or if recovery is unsuccessful, your device will be returned to you as-is. Any data temporarily stored on our systems during the recovery process will be securely deleted within 30 days of service completion.
All repairs are backed by a warranty. The warranty varies depending on the type of repair, please contact us if you have any questions about warranty length.
You ship your device to us at your expense. We’ll perform an assessment on the device, and once the assessment or service is complete, we’ll charge a return shipping fee to send your device back to you.
